Welcome to the St John Plessington Catholic College Alumni page.
Whether you left SJP recently or many years ago, you remain an important part of our school community. Our alumni network helps former pupils stay connected with the college, with one another and with the next generation of SJP pupils.
We are incredibly proud of our former pupils and would love to hear about the different paths you have followed since leaving us. This could include further or higher education, apprenticeships, employment, entrepreneurship, volunteering, family life, travel or service within your local community.

Inspiring the next generation
Our former pupils have valuable experiences, knowledge and advice to share. By telling your story, you can help current pupils understand the wide range of opportunities available to them and encourage them to be ambitious about their futures.
There are many ways alumni can become involved, including:
- Speaking at assemblies, careers events or enrichment sessions
- Sharing information about a profession, university course or apprenticeship
- Offering workplace visits, work-experience opportunities or mentoring
- Supporting mock interviews and careers activities
- Contributing to subject lessons or the Belong Curriculum
- Providing a written profile or short video about life after SJP
- Attending school celebrations, performances and community events
- Supporting charitable, faith-based and social-action projects
You can choose how much or how little you would like to be involved. Even a short message about your journey can have a meaningful impact on a young person considering their next steps.
