Our Resourced Provision is designed to meet the needs of students who have an EHCP, where Autistic Spectrum Condition is their primary area of need. It is for students whose needs are complex currently and require smaller group teaching for at least part of the curriculum.

At SJP we follow a 50/50 model, with 50% of teaching taking place in the Base and 50% of teaching accessed via the mainstream school.

Allocation of places in the Resourced Provision is controlled by the Local Authority and is dependent on needs identified with an EHCP. Pupils within the Base belong to the form group ‘Assisi’, named after St Francis of Assisi.

We currently cater to 12 Year 7 pupils and 12 Year 8 pupils, and look forward to expanding the base further by welcoming a new cohort of Year 7 students in September 2027. The Resourced Base has a beautiful private garden for the pupils to enjoy should they wish to spend their unstructured time in a quieter area. We encourage pupils in the Resourced Base to access the wide variety of experiences and opportunities which SJP has to offer.
