Dear Parents/Carers 

As you know, we had planned to complete a full set of Yr 10 trial examinations week commencing 21st June 2021. However, in light of the recent rise in infection rates in the North West and the delay in reducing social distance guidelines, we have had to take the decision to reduce the number of trial examinations that Yr 10 students will sit in the Sports Hall.

As you know, we had planned to gather our Year 13 pupils this Friday, to celebrate their SJP journey in a liturgy, followed by a celebratory barbecue. However, in light of the recent rise in infection rates in the North West, and the delay in reducing social distance guidelines, we have had to take the decision to postpone the event.

We have organised another ski trip for January 2022. The next ski trip will be to Alpe D’Huez in France and will take place between Saturday 8th January and Saturday 15th January 2022. The past year has been very challenging, however our Year 11 students have continued to amaze us with their resilience, motivation and determination. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our Year 11 students for being fabulous and for bringing so much character and joy to the SJP community. It’s been a real pleasure to watch students grow and flourish over the years. We hope that the SJP experience has prepared them for the next stage of their journey and that they will treasure the memories made. 

We will look forward to welcoming back students to sixth form in September and we send our best wishes to those embarking upon pastures new.
