Gospel to Life

Uniquely, Saint John Plessington Catholic College involves all pupils and staff in the Gospel to Life programme. Through bi-weekly sessions with their peers and Form teachers, pupils learn how the Gospel is relevant for them and how they can apply the Gospel to their lives, through

• prayer together, 
• reflecting on and discussing Gospel inspired films and works of art
• engaging with speakers who have been inspired by the Gospel
• practicing charity and service to the community together
• contributing to the mission and leadership of the school 
• care of creation activities and advocacy
• artistic endeavours
• building up a culture and environment where all are heard and seen and empowered to contribute to the common good. 

By participating in the Gospel to Life programme, every pupil and teacher receives formation for participation in the Catholic life and mission of the school.
