On Friday 1st July we said farewell to Year 13 at our Leavers Dinner at the Hilton Hotel in Liverpool. We celebrated their journey with us whilst enjoying a meal, followed by an awards ceremony, much to the delight of staff and student worthy recipients.

I hope this letter finds you and your loved ones well as we come to the end of a most rewarding and challenging academic year. Whilst we are coming to terms with living with and managing COVID in school, our Y11 and Y13 students have taken the first public examinations since 2019, our Y10s have had their first full year in school since they were in Year 7, we have welcomed the newest members of our SJP community this week and said goodbye to the oldest members of our SJP community at a Y13 Leavers' Dinner last week and we are looking forward to opening our new building of 8 state of the art classrooms in October 2022, to name just a few things! I thank you for the support you have given the school throughout the year.

I hope you are well. First and foremost, I would like to start this letter by thanking you all for your support and cooperation throughout this academic year. Our students have had their first full academic year in school since September 2019, and we are very proud of them.
Yr 11 Leavers’ Celebration
The past year has been very challenging, however our Year 11 students have continued to amaze us with their resilience, motivation and determination. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our Year 11 students for being fabulous and for bringing so much character and joy to the SJP community. It’s been a real pleasure to watch students grow and flourish over the years. We hope that the SJP experience has prepared them for the next stage of their journey and that they will treasure the memories made.

There will be no change to the time your child will arrive or finish school.
Industrial Action by Network Rail staff leads to Merseyrail closure
Merseyrail and Network Rail have announced that rail services will not run on the Merseyrail network on Tuesday 21st, Thursday 23rd and Saturday 25th June, due to some Network Rail staff taking industrial action.
Yr12 Art students enjoyed a beautiful sunny day in Yorkshire Sculpture Park in Wakefield this week.
Changes to Merseyrail Timetables from Monday 13th June
Merseyrail has today announced that further changes will be made to timetables across the network from Monday 13 June.
Today, the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC), in collaboration with Universal Pictures, has announced the winner of their Create The Card competition. The competition involved a nationwide search for a talented young individual to design the official BBFC Black Card for the upcoming summer blockbuster, Jurassic World Dominion.
