We are a community that prays, sings and reflects together daily.
You can find our Prayer and liturgy Policy here. You can also see our Chaplaincy calendar which sets out our themes of the week and other litrugical activities.
Pupils are encouraged to pray and reflect silently and individually and also with their class and year group as a community. Pupils are invited and empowered to lead prayer in their class and in the weekly Celebrations of the Word organized by the year group. Pupils attend Mass termly and Mass is available for those who wish to attend weekly. Pupils plan and participate in liturgies and services marking important milestones in the Church’s year such as Advent, Lent, and the feast days of the patrons of the Houses of the school.

The Family and Prayer- praying together in the family
The family has been described as the best school of prayer. Prayer is at its most basic and also profound level the raising of heart and mind to God.
We encourage all families to pray together. Experience teaches that the benefits of praying together are often substantial.
A simple prayers family can say together is
Dear God, thank you for my family.
Please bless us with love, health, and happiness.
Guide us through challenges and help us grow closer together.
Amen.”
This link takes you to all the prayers in our Let us pray book, copies of which every pupil receives and are available for free from reception.

The Jubilee prayer
Father in heaven,
may the faith you have given us
in your son, Jesus Christ, our brother,
and the flame of charity enkindled
in our hearts by the Holy Spirit,
reawaken in us the blessed hope
for the coming of your Kingdom.
May your grace transform us
into tireless cultivators of the seeds of the Gospel.
May those seeds transform from within both humanity and the whole cosmos
in the sure expectation
of a new heaven and a new earth,
when, with the powers of Evil vanquished,
your glory will shine eternally.
May the grace of the Jubilee
reawaken in us, Pilgrims of Hope,
a yearning for the treasures of heaven.
May that same grace spread
the joy and peace of our Redeemer
throughout the earth.
To you our God, eternally blessed,
be glory and praise for ever.
Amen.
