The strike is happening because of a national dispute between the unions and the government over teachers’ pay and conditions and not because of any issues at our school.

The strike is happening because of a national dispute between the unions and the government over teachers’ pay and conditions and not because of any issues at our school.Due to the impact this will have on the number of staff who will be in school on this day, I am writing to inform you that SJP will be closed to all pupils in year groups 7- 10. Please do not send your child into school on this day. We will, however, remain open to all pupils in Key Stage 5 (Y12/13). Yr12 Option Block B trial exams also take place as scheduled.
